Your income is not your wealth. Your optionality is.
I’m Ned Markey — PEDIATRIC DENTIST, REAL ESTATE INVESTOR, and PRACTITIONER OF THE LIFE BY DESIGN. I help high-earning professionals navigate the design process of building true freedom: not balance, not retirement, but a life architected around what matters most.
Impact Freedom Through Service
One of the most meaningful ways I live out the Freedom Stack is through Impact Freedom—using the skills, resources, and opportunities I’ve been given to serve others.
For more than 20 years, I’ve participated in dental mission work across the United States, the Caribbean, and Central America. During that time I’ve helped lead teams treating more than a thousand patients who otherwise may not have access to care.
As a dentist, I believe our skills carry a responsibility. In many parts of the world, people live with untreated dental pain simply because care is unavailable. Mission work allows us to step into that gap and provide help where it’s needed most.

Feed My Starving Children
Annual food packing and ongoing support.

The Floating Doctors
Serving children in Bocas del Toro, Panama.

Remote Area Medical
Dental clinics in underserved areas of the U.S.
These trips bring together dentists, students, volunteers, and families who share a desire to serve communities where access to dental care is limited. Temporary clinics are set up in courtyards, schools, buses, or community buildings, often treating patients who have waited days for the opportunity to receive care.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of serving alongside teams working with organizations including:
World Mission Partners – pediatric dental missions in the Dominican Republic
The Floating Doctors – serving children in Bocas del Toro, Panama
Remote Area Medical – dental clinics in underserved areas of the United States
BOCA Missions – dental outreach in Mexico
Feed My Starving Children – annual food packing and ongoing support
The goal is simple: relieve pain, restore health, and serve people with dignity.
But the impact extends beyond the communities we visit. These experiences also shape the dentists, families, and volunteers who participate—expanding their perspective and strengthening a lifelong commitment to service.
That’s the essence of Impact Freedom: improving lives today while inspiring others to carry that work forward.
Why This Matters
The greatest joy of these trips isn’t just the dentistry.
It’s watching my children interact with other children from completely different cultures who don’t even share a language—and seeing how quickly those barriers disappear.
Moments like that remind us that compassion and humanity are universal.
Multiplying the Impact
A major focus of my mission work moving forward is bringing young dentists into these experiences.
They bring valuable clinical skills to communities that need them, but they also gain something powerful in return—leadership, perspective, and a renewed sense of purpose in their profession.
This is where Impact Freedom multiplies:
We serve communities that need care.
We mentor dentists who will go on to serve others.
We inspire families and teams to live a life of service.
Many of our trips include families, dental teams, and volunteers who want to experience service together.
If you’re a dentist—or simply someone who believes in making a difference—I invite you to consider joining my family and our team on a future mission trip.
Sometimes the most meaningful thing you can give the world is simply your willingness to serve.
